Work Experience: Renshi Leinhauser spent 28.5 years with the Manatee County Department of Public Safety. He retired out as a Captain with the department. During his tenure, he spent 11 years as a member of the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team. He has served as protection for Presidential visits and other political dignitary protection details. He has instructed numerous law enforcement, executive protection teams, and other public safety personnel in the past twenty years.

Mr. Leinhauser regularly attends and conducts seminars on various disciplines throughout the country. His approach to teaching is both motivating and practical, using real life experiences with sound combat principles. Students can be assured they will learn real self defense for the real world.

The focus of his program is empty hand close quarter combat. Ninety eight percent of all assaults take place within hands reach. As such, the system is a “no nonsense” approach, utilizing rapid strikes, take downs and rapid neutralization of the opponent.
